The roads that bring a designer to conceive a new product are substantially two: on commission and for a natural process of creative inspiration.
That on commission is the most frequent. The firm recognizes in a designer a certain affinity in the taste or in the philosophy of his projects, contact and the meetings that follow will allow him to acquire information and understand the product.
The next phases serve for optimizing on a draft project and to make it coincide to the demands of the company and with those of the designer.
Often the priorities are different: problems in the production, costs on the side and aesthetics and the philosophy of the project. The complete result of the product is tied up to the resolution of this without compromise, difficult but not impossible and a lot of articles in the production show him. The second is what I feel is more mine, the most spontaneous but also the most fascinating if you want, but for many complex because the trial that brings from an idea to the end product is never simple, or almost never.
To think that a designer draws inspiration from everything in a condition more poetic than pragmatic it is not true. Everything can be source of inspiration. You can be departed by an object that you have struck where you can recognize even an alternative function or from a material not yet known whose peculiarities allow us to value others, but it is fundamental that everything is filtered by a technical preparation that is essential with the purpose to follow a direct and concrete finalization to the production.
Books of poetries are therefore important, but curiosities are fundamental towards technological novelties.
The " God save the Queen "
(that you see in the photo) came from the idea to use the Swarovski crystals in unusual way. Every chair is a real unique piece because the position of the centre where you sit will have the Swarovski’s in an absolutely casual way and the sequence is not repeatable.

The multi-layered lacquered chair presented in the red fire tone, white snow and grey seal is exclusively upholstered in the inside with a particular technical fabric in the same tone of the body of the crystals. You can request this chair also without the upholstering.
The loom in steel is exclusively present in the shiny chrome version. Particular attention has been devoted to the footrest of the stool that had to integrate the soft lines of the chair and to make it stable and ergonomic. The adopted solution satisfies these characteristics and also results of easy manufacturing.
Chair, stool and chaise longues give completeness to the range and notable versatility for the market to which develops the company or rather the contract.
Accento, the manufacturing company, sets a lot of attention in the realization of its products, from the selection of the prime materials, to the phases of manufacturing, painting, upholstering and assembling. Naturally check every product before being packed and delivered are accurately control checked for quality.
The challenge to an extremely demanding and selective market, as that, implies a great passion, competence and appointment. Accento is preparing a new show room and to show new products, sharpening the collaboration with young designers, recalibrating the strategies and consolidating the reliability of the productive aspects.
