Modular storing cabinet

APP shows completely its architectural tendence in its two-face version. Right here, with the introduction of the door, which defines a new space inside the home, APP makes itself “wall”, delimiting the spaces without leaving the fundamental functional feature, of which the open spaces are valuable together with the traditional leaf doors. APP, Architectural Partitions Project, of Pinuccio Borgonovo is slightly different from the traditional idea of wardrobes and it can be defined as a programme, which should define the home space. In fact, its modular storage units can be leant to the wall, as a traditional wardrobe, but the peculiarity is that, they can be themselves “wall”: they foresee leaf doors, integrated with the front of the wardrobe, in order to pass from one to the other sector of the home, created by APP. It presents itself as a closed structure, following one’s tastes and needs, closed by leaf or overlapping sliding or coplanar doors or as a walk-in closet. Finally, the internal equipments form themselves on a rectangular grill, where there are not only drawers and boxes, but also open spaces. The internal equipments are completed with storage units with different opening types and shelves, and in case of the walk-in closet or the integration to the living room, they are leant on back panels, which give them the supporting and distinctive structure.
