Upholstered chair with an enveloping comfort

Patrick Jouin designs Zip, a new upholstered chair. Sinuous and elegant in the silhouette, it is characterized by the innovative constructive design, in which the back legs rise up to creep between the armrest and backrest, creating a play of overlapping materials between the covering and the wood; this is its distinctive sign. The chair is defined by an external line that bounces between the armrest and the back, identifying as the origin of the perimeter arches, the four legs made with a careful work of cabinet-making; they taper towards the ground giving lightness to the upholstered shell while, the soft and connected sections of the upholstery, make the product a piece of immediate and iconic design. The shape suggests an enveloping comfort, ideal for both the home and the contract world. Body in self-extinguishing class 1IM flexible polyurethane foamed in exclusive mold, with strapped metal insert. Legs in solid ash with metal supporting structure. Completely removable. Materials as shown in the details.
