Chandelier in blown crystal and gold leaf

Ca' Rezzonico style chandelier in clear crystal glass decorated with 24Kt gold leaf, handmade according to traditional Murano blown glass techniques.
The procedure for applying the gold leaf requires a very delicate hand: it is in fact the application of very thin sheets of gold leaf on incandescent glass, which on contact with heat shatters into tiny golden specks that give a unique effect of luminosity and refinement. This decoration, combined with the sumptuousness of the Rezzonico style, makes this chandelier a true jewel of Venetian art.
