Sofa with important and shaped sides

Sofa upholstered in velvet, with armrests upholstered in plaited leatherette, leather, and piping in coordinated colour plaited leatherette. Base in dark matt American walnut. Padding in foam polyurethane of varying density, with acrylic fiber cover.

The imposing and contoured sides lend a solemnity to the piece that evokes the majesty of ancient thrones. This principle is also used in the padding of the seat that, in spite of the monolithic design, guarantees great comfort. The variable shape of the two central cushions creates the effect of a crown-like cymatium completing the solemn image of the sofa. The leather inserts at the heads of the armrests and all along the outline, like Medieval decorations, highlight the particular silhouette of this sofa. The low and projecting wooden base consolidates and completes the monumental perception of the piece. This sofa represents “majesty” in the area of upholstered furniture.
