Enveloping armchair, with capitonné workmanship

Armchair with backing upholstered in nubuck leather, seat and backrest in hand crafted capitonnè velvet upholstery. Padding in foam polyurethane of varying density, with acrylic fiber cover. Base in dark rosewood.

The tulip-shaped body with the high and wide sides offers a comfortable and cozy seat. The capitonné padding, in contrast with the smooth and continuous line of the backrest, creates a fascinating material contrast between soft and welcoming inside and a rigid and continuous outside. The profile follows a continuous wavy line and determines the distinctive silhouette. In the Vis-à-vis armchairs these lines are exaggerated and create and intimate and intriguing effect.
