Next to open space areas where relations are forged and networking is conducted, offices should continue to offer protected and personal dimensions, where those who identify themselves with an individual working model can recover their focus and concentration.
Pod is the new project created by Estel SmartOffice, which comprises module rooms covered in soundproof panels where users can activate protected and reserved spaces. The vertical walls can be closed on two or three sides and joined horizontally to form a roof. Pod can be designed to accommodate scalable degrees of privacy in clear or frosted glass, or lined with fabric or laminate. Inside, the module is lighted, features an air recycle system and electricity, thus representing an ideal solution to create modular islands for networking tables, as well as smaller spaces for individual work.
