Inlaid cabinet in citronnier and briar

Maggiolini-style cabinet inlaid with citronnier and pomelé briarwood. It is inspired by the elaborate inlays made towards the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century by the famous Italian cabinetmaker Giuseppe Maggiolini. The Maggiolini style has always been sought after and of great effect for its rich inlays executed by skilled cabinet makers. The same curved lines can be found in room 3460. This piece can in fact be used not only in the halls but also in the bedroom as a secretaire.
